How do I disassemble my AnimHal ® Cat valved holding chamber ?
AnimHal® Cat is delivered assembled. To disassemble it, follow the instructions below :
- Remove the mask (g) from the valve holder (b).
- Remove the rear connector (c) from the bowl-shaped tank (a), separate the valve holder (b) from the bowl-shaped tank (a).
- Remove the inspiratory valve (d), the valve cap (f), the expiratory valve (e) from the valve holder (b).
How do I clean my AnimHal ® Cat valved holding chamber ?
AnimHal® Cat must be cleaned at least once a week according to the following instructions :
- Disassemble AnimHal® Cat according to the disassembly instructions, then wash them by hand in a mixture of warm clean water with washing-up liquid.
- Rinse with clean water and leave it to dry in open air. Once the components of your AnimHal® Cat are dry, reassemble it according to the assembly instructions.
- AnimHal® Cat cannot be heat sterilized. It must not be exposed to heat higher than 70°C.
How do I assemble my AnimHal ® Cat valved holding chamber ?
- Insert the expiratory valve (e) into its position on the top of the valve holder (b).
- Attach the valve cap (f) to the valve holder (b).
- To use without inspiratory valve, go to next step. To use with the inspiratory valve (for a cat heavier than 9kg), insert the inspiratory valve (d) into its position on the valve holder (b).
IMPORTANT
Respect the position of the male (j; k) and female (l; m) notches.
- Attach the valve holder (b) to the bowl-shaped tank (a).
- Attach the rear connector (c) to the bowl-shaped tank (a); ensure the alignment of the valve cap (f) with the rear notch (n). Attach the mask (g) to the valve holder (b).
How do I store my AnimHal ® Cat valved holding chamber ?
- AnimHal® Cat must be stored assembled with the mask attached or not.
- AnimHal® Cat must be stored in a clean and dry place.
