MinimHal® Vet is a low volume (60ml) inhalation chamber which allows to fit to small respiratory volumes of animals.
This device enables to administer both a pressurized metered dose inhaler and a nebulizer (vibrating mesh nebuliser such as Aeroneb® or jet nebuliser) without having to open the circuit.
The MinimHal® Vet inhalation chamber was specially designed to improve pulmonary drug deposition for animals on ventilatory support. Thanks to its small volume, MinimHal® Vet is particularly adapted to the small tidal volumes of animals.
Its use allows to limit the interventions on the ventilation circuit, in particular during a change of treatment, thus reducing the risks of contamination of the ventilation circuit.
MinimHal® Vet can be placed at different positions into the mechanical ventilation circuit, invasive or non-invasive.
The MinimHal® Vet inhalation chamber has two connectors for drugs. One is for pressurized metered dose inhalers and the second for vibrating mesh nebulisers such as AeroNeb® or jet nebulisers.
MinimHal® Vet can be connected to 15mm diameter ventilation circuit without adapters. Adapters can be used to connect it to circuits with different diameters.
